The New Testament Scriptures
Romans 15: 4 – 13: In which St. Paul writes to the congregation at Rome that they ought to rejoice in the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy regarding the stump of Jesse, which was fulfilled in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 3: 1 – 12 – In which John the Baptist cries out in the wilderness, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord!”
